Undertaking engagement activities and establishing and managing partnerships are both essential elements of our broader work. These activities should be guided by a clear strategy, which supports YEM objectives and priorities and focuses on achieving our vision. With that strategy in place, our engagement and partnership approaches can be planned, tailored and delivered in order to achieve improved outcomes. We must always be able to demonstrate that our engagement and our partnership approaches are strategic, purposeful and valuable.
