Call for Applications: Call for Grassroots, Community Human Rights Champions, Defenders, Advocates and Activists!

Are you a youth/young person, upcoming/new that works on social, health justice issues in Kenya? This is for you!

To further advance the work of YEM Kenya and support young people increase in expertise, skills, information within a vibrant, growing organization, YEM Kenya is looking to engage/support  new, young, upcoming Community/grassroots human rights defenders/activists/advocates/champions who work on social, health, justice issues to skill and to further identify areas of synergies to be able to support our work of mobilizing, equipping and empowering all young people from diverse backgrounds. 

To be eligible for this engagement you must meet the following criteria/requirements;

1. Be a Young person/youth of the age of 18 – 30 Years 

2.  Be a Kenyan Citizen and from Kenya 

3. Have an interest to understand how their role interlinks (may contribute to work) with Policy advocacy & laws, social media, media advocacy & campaigns, activism and SRHR 

4. Be keen, passionate and with interest in the whole spectrum of Human rights for all persons

5. Be a person  who ascribe to the Human rights principles

6. Be keen to improve their work through understanding of laws, policies, guidelines, attitude’s and values clarified 

7. Be a human rights activist with a fair understanding of technical knowledge or expertise, community organizing in social health justice issues
